Download Navigating How to Tell History – Unedited.mp3

At the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, a group of History majors asked if they could interview me for their Oral History Project. I’m sharing this video with you for FREE because of all of the raw truth I share about Emmett Till, his mother Mamie, racism and the anti-racism work I do in the community and inside the ivory tower. Colleges universities are the house that racism built and it’s important that we help students navigate how to tell history so that they are sharing those stories from an intersectional lens, a critical race theory lens and a compassionate lens that sees humanity as well as the politics of racial experiences.
